Theory focus:
- ICF-oriented, subject-specific terminology including voice-relevant bodily functions, structures, activity, everyday participation
- ELS-based diagnostics/examination methods/ SLP-relevant voice tests (voice status, impaired voice anamnesis)
- Qualitative and quantitative vocal, aerodynamic and physical voice-related parameters
- Objective and subjective measurement procedures in voice diagnostics
- Multifactorial etiology and functional as well as biopsychosocial-cultural interactions in the case of functional, non-organic, voice disorderstions
- Differentiated recording of dysfunctions of breathing, posture, movement, voice as well as articulation as well as voice-relevant emotion and voice-related situation
- Clinical Reasoning in voice therapy
- ICF-orientedand SMART-based voice therapy planning and voice counselling planning
- Evaluation and state-of-the-art argumentation of multiaxial voice therapy outcomes
- complex Voice-therapeutically relevant interventions and therapy concepts
- relevant historical and current voice therapy concepts
- Examplerary therapy implementation using different voice therapy concepts
- Preventive and voice hygiene measures

Practice focus:
- Self-experience and independent implementation of breathing, voice and speech exercises in the context of complex voice therapy interventions
- Voice therapy relevant compensation mechanisms, blockages and interactions with oneself and others, as well as being able to regulate them constructively
- Experience of multiaxial connections between voice therapy relevant body-oriented interventions and the emotional and situational context

Lecture contents

Process module therapy:
- Practical experience in the design of an SLP process for small groups using the example of voice
- Self-responsible design and (implementation) management of the SLP process, taking into account a professional ethical attitude as well as the medical and social context
- ICF and evidence-based formulation of objectives, planning, implementation and reflection of the process from different perspectives (therapist, respondent, process, methodology, outcome)
- During the design of the process, together with your respondents, develop and adapt relevant objectives and variations,
- develop own initiatives and independent action, develop and test new ideas, get involved in new situations, experience
- the importance of cooperative communication and intra-professional exchange in the SLP process
