EIT-Health-Austria: Academia-2-Entrepreneurs (A2E)

Project duration: March 2023 to September 2023

Goal of the project "EIT-Health-Austria: Academia-2-Entrepreneurs (A2E)" is to motivate students and young researchers in health sciences and medicine to consider the possibility of forming a start-up business in the healthcare sector. The young founders are portrayed in video interviews in which they respond to specific questions from students and young researchers on the topic of entrepreneurship.

These "best practice" models are intended to further promote entrepreneurial thinking in the academic sector and encourage people to create their own start-ups.

The project also aims to promote innovative ideas for the healthcare market with the help of experts and support programs at the EIT Health Hub.

  • Recruitment of students and young researchers in the participating educational institutions
  • Collection of relevant questions on a possible/intended start-up process
  • Development of a pool of questions for selected interviewees from the EIT Health network
