FH Campus Wien bundles almost 70 study programs in seven departments. A lively exchange between these departments creates the best conditions for the development of interdisciplinary study programs and promising R&D activities.


Applied Life Sciences

The FH Campus Wien Department of Applied Life Sciences offers degree programs with a focus on science and engineering. Through our close cooperation with the Campus Vienna BioCenter and the BOKU Vienna, students and researchers at our Applied Life Sciences locations have access to state-of-the-art laboratories. FH Campus Wien has established itself with practical educational content and application-oriented R & D projects in medical, molecular and industrial biotechnology and in packaging and resource management.

Building and Design

FH Campus Wien has more than twenty years of experience with building and design degree programs, and today has extensive expertise and a large network at its disposal. The specializations that FH Campus Wien has established up till now range from construction management to sustainability. The latest milestone in the education is the start of the architecture degree program in Green Building. As part of our advanced professional training courses, students benefit especially from the intersections between structural engineering, architecture and business.

Health Sciences

FH Campus Wien is now the largest university of applied sciences for health in Austria. An important partner in the areas of education, research and development is the Vienna Healthcare Group. Especially with the master's degree programs and master's courses of the Departments of Health Sciences and Nursing science, FH Campus Wien is helping to develop the health professions as academic disciplines. Because today, evidence-based decisions and management skills are increasingly expected of health professionals.

Applied Nursing Science

For more than 15 years, FH Campus Wien has been meeting the ever-increasing demand for healthcare and nursing services in our society with its practical and research-based degree programs. Good networking and many years of cooperation with important healthcare institutions such as the Vienna Healthcare Association, the Vizenz Group and the Nursing Academy Barmherzige Brüder enable training cooperation and extensive work placements during the course.

The continuing education Master's degree programs (CE) Advanced Nursing with a focus on clinical nursing skills open up further career opportunities in the professional fields of management, teaching and consulting.

Social Work

In addition to a general education as a social worker and social educator, the FH Campus Wien Department of Social Work also offers a bachelor's degree program for trained kindergarten teachers. Within the framework of the master's degree programs, FH Campus Wien engages in innovative developments through spatial and clinical social work. In the European master's degree program in Social Economy, students receive a joint degree. Close cooperation with social work organizations and FH Campus Wien's own Research Center raise the quality of teaching and research for all the degree programs.

Engineering

In the Department of Engineering you will find relevant, innovative and recognized degree programs and courses to help you enter and further your career: whether in the manufacturing industry, IT, electronics, robotics, technical management or at the intersection to the healthcare sector. Our extensive and diverse network in science and practice ensures that the course content is professionally relevant and at the cutting edge of research.

Administration, Economics, Security, Politics

The Department of Administration, Economics, Security, Politics at FH Campus Wien covers a wide range of degree programs for the public sector, politics and business. Tax Management is the first degree program specialized in tax law and business administration that is based on close cooperation with the Federal Ministry of Finance. Public Management is tailored to suit the public sector, combining economics, law, politics and administration. These degree programs benefit from a partnership with the Federal Chancellery. The selection of degree programs at FH Campus Wien are rounded out by innovative courses and programs on risk and safety management.
