General Oncology deals with nomenclature, characteristics and development of tumors, dysfunction of cellgrowth, tumorgrading, metastasis, tumorstaging and performance status.
Specific Oncology considers the different tumorentities with regard to etiopathogenesis, clinical symptoms, staging, grading, metastasis and therapy focused on radiation therapy (target volume, dose) as well as early and late side effects.

- identification of common physical and technical errors during treatment preparation and radiation treatment
- Acquiring skills in using radiation treatment equipment

Hands on training in using radiation treatment equipment relevant to the lectures in which students are divided into 4 groups.
