Research areas

Our research profile is characterized by five interdisciplinary research areas. They are based on future-oriented disciplines that we both strengthen and network in innovative ways. These strong networks between the many subject-specific competencies creates new capabilities that we use sustainably and in a pioneering manner in our research and development.

Our current research and development is application-oriented, interdisciplinary and carried out according to ethical guidelines in nine competence centers, and in the courses of our seven departments, in the following research areas:
