Theoretische Einführung zu den Begriffen Supervision, Gruppentheorie, Gruppendynamik und Teamentwicklung.
Gruppensupervision (z.B. nach Balint) im Studium und in Praktika als Ressource für die Persönlichkeitsentwicklung erkennen und nützen. Erarbeitung individueller Strategien zum Konflikt- und Stressmanagement, Optimierung der Zusammenarbeit der Studierenden untereinander und mit Lehrenden. Umgang mit belastenden Ereignissen, bewusste Erfahrung und Reflexion der eigenen Person und des eigenen Verhaltens in der Gruppe.

Vertiefte Diskussion und Reflexion durchgeführter ergotherapeutischer Prozesse (Clinical Reasoning), des beruflichen Selbstverständnisses, ergotherapeutischer Grundhaltung, angewandter Dokumentationsformen, Praktikumsbericht.

Lecture contents

Theoretical introduction of key terms: supervision, group theory, group dynamics and team development.
Recognise and profit from group supervision (e.g. after Balint) during studies and in placements, seeing group supervision as a resource for personality development. Developing individual strategies for conflict and stress management, optimising cooperation among students and also with lecturers. Dealing with difficult events, conscious experience and reflection of one´s own person and personal behaviour in a group.

Further discussion and reflection of implemented occupational therapy processes (clinical reasoning), professional behaviour, occupational therapy attitude, applied forms of documentation, placement report.

Occupational science basics. Occupational performance areas of human life. Concept of health in occupational therapy in the context of occupation and ICF; related sciences; client centredness;
Field-specific terminology and occupational therapy thinking. Differentiation of occupation and activity.
Occupation as basic concept for the profession, therapeutic application, therapy methods and concepts.
Comparing definitions of occupational therapy internationally.
