- Neuronal representation of language
- Connections of movement, action, thought and language conception
- Neuropsychological and neuropsychiatric epiphenomena and syndromes with an effect on the ability to communicate
- Symptom complexes in neurology
- Basic definitions of language-conceptual disorders:
Aphasia, agraphia, alexia, acalculia
- Basic explanations of speech motor disorders:
Dysarthria, speech apraxia (cerebral nerve paralysis)
- Neuromuscular and neurodegenerative diseases
- Symptom characterization and classification possibilities
- Differentiation of agnosia, akinesia, anarthria, apraxia and apallic syndrome
- Examples of different models of speech processing and communication
- Physiological changes in speech during the aging process

Analysis of therapy documentation from theSLP departments on the basis of selected criteria regarding diagnostic findings, formulation of therapy goals, therapy planning, methodical approach.
Interpretation with regard to transparency, conclusiveness and causality.
Evaluation of the selected methods in the context of professional and scientific theory.
Determination of process-oriented, continuative measures.
