Statistical basics (sample and population, frequencies, qualitative and quantitative characteristics, scale levels); statistical parameters (positional and dispersion measures, distribution measures); graphical representation; basics of probability theory; discrete and continuous random variables and distribution forms (inter alia binomial, Poisson, normal distribution); Expected value; standard deviation and variance in the probability calculus; correlation and its interpretation; formulating hypotheses; significance level and normal distribution approximation; parameter estimation, confidence intervals for share values; means and variances; errors of the first and second kind; test distributions and hypothesis testing, variance analysis; significance check for correlations;
