- Qualitative and quantitative epistemology
- Developing a research question
- Differences and similarities of different qualitative methods
- Introduction to epistemology
- Qualitative data collection (interviews, focus groups, participant observation, etc.)
- Use of qualitative methods for eliciting needs, contexts of use and other framework conditions as well as for evaluation in the context of product development processes
- Qualitative data analysis methods
- Practical project with users for needs assessment
