The purpose of the Professional MBA is to develop graduates who are both competent and confident in mastering and leading innovative change and growth in their specific industry setting, be it Life Sciences, Engineering Business or the Construction Economy.

This MBA is designed to progressively build management skills relevant to your specific needs, encouraging you readily to apply the knowledge you have gained in the workplace. Building on a basic functional understanding of business management, you will learn the integrated design of an enterprise and how this relates to both strategy and culture. This is the basis for the management of change through innovation, creating new sources of value and operating models. You will come to appreciate the disciplines of management and the practice and meaning of leadership.

You have already experienced success in your early professional career in Life Sciences, Engineering Business or the Construction Economy. Your goal now is to gain a strong foundation in relevant management and leadership methods, complementing your industry experience. This will be the basis upon which you take greater responsibility for your company's business. Leading and managing endeavors in a global and complex business environment is your passion and a challenge you thrive upon. You are looking for a program that allows you to contribute your existing experience and build on this with your peers and your faculty.

The involvement of your company and theincorporation of their goals in your learning is highly encouraged, particularly in the formulation of the subject of your Master´s thesis.

Admission requirements

The formal preconditions are the successful completion of a Bachelor or Master´s degree. Your experience in the addressed industry branch should be at least three years of relevant employment.

Moreover, you need to demonstrate your language skills:

  • English (non-native speakers): English Standard Test, TOEFL or IELTS
  • German (non-native speakers): Minimum level B2
