You have an interest in the real estate sector and wish to develop your career in this area. You are aware that in a real estate role, you will be required to address issues of construction and redevelopment and take decisions on technical solutions. You would like to acquire the necessary skills to perform such a role. Taking an interdisciplinary and long-term approach, you are capable of considering situations from every angle. Although this program does not require a prior knowledge of civil engineering, an inquisitive mind is a key prerequisite.
In the 20 years and more that FH Campus Wien has been running civil engineering programs, the university of applied sciences has built up a wealth of expertise and a broad network that offers you numerous possibilities both during your program and in your subsequent professional life. This network includes construction firms such as STRABAG SE, which cooperates with FH Campus Wien in the further education of its staff and other areas. The specialist areas we have developed over many years range from construction management to sustainability. Students in the academic course benefit from our in-house expertise in the interface between the real estate business and sustainable civil engineering. Aside from interdisciplinary theory, practical relevance is our top priority. During the program, you will learn to apply knowledge to practical projects. Practical relevance is also guaranteed at our Campus Lecture evenings, which are open to all and feature contributions from prominent experts.
The real estate sector offers numerous job prospects to experts from the fields of business and law as well as newcomers. Anyone wishing to acquire technical expertise in civil engineering and redevelopment without spending a long time in a job or undergoing numerous courses, can now gain a critical competitive advantage thanks to this made-to-measure program. The aim is to enable graduates to assess and redevelop properties while taking account of civil engineering, environmental, economic and building law factors.
