At this stage, we discuss in detail what is required, what is learned and how the work is done during the internship. Recognition of one's own competences and the preservation of one's own limits, observation, monitoring, evaluation of needs, design possibilities, physiological birth (use of resources including (use of resources incl. transcultural perspectives); CTG classification, evaluation, interpretation, perineal protection and development of the child, care of episiotomies and birth injuries, postpartum monitoring and care of the mother, bonding, initial care of the newborn, initial examination of the newborn, documentation of the birth process
