Lecture contents

Bioinformatics topics will be addressed and the practical solution of biological problems with bioinformatics tools will be discussed.
The topics include:
- the Human Genome (Genome analysis: SNPs, Variant Discovery)
- biological batabases
- data formats
- protein domains, regulatory patterns
- non-coding RNA prediction
- gene set analysis

Assessment methods

Final exam
Written test on the theoretical part (50%), report (50%)

2) Application of relevant bioinformatics tools for the analysis of associated data

100 % Protocol in which you have to analyse RNA-Seq Data/ ChIP-Seq Data
