The university council is responsible for the implementation and organization of teaching and examinations. This consists of the Rector - Professor (FH) DI Dr. Heinz Schmidt – head of the council, the heads of all academic sections and a student and lecturer/research representative from each of the academic sections. The council meets for at least three regular meetings - plenary assemblies - per academic year.
