- Amalgamation of the course-providing bodies FH Bau/Camillo- Sitte and Campus Favoriten
- Establishment of the "Verein zur Förderung des Fachhochschul-, Entwicklungs- und Forschungszentrums im Süden Wiens" as course-providing body of the FH Campus Wien
- Continuation of the existing FH-degree programmes “Technical Project and Process Management” and “Civil Engineering and Construction Management” together

- Appointment of Ing. Wilhelm Behensky as Managing Director
Autumn 2002
- Integration of the former "The City of Vienna Academy of Social Work" and the "Federal Academy for Social Work of Vienna"
- Start of five new FH-degree programmes: Social Work, Social Work for Employees, Social Work (in urban areas)(location: Freytaggasse), Information Technologies and Telecommunication and Biotechnology (location: Vienna BioCenter).
Autumn 2003
- Start of the part-time FH-degree programme Bioengineering (location: University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences)
Summer 2004
- Conferment of the status "Fachhochschule" (University of Applied Sciences)
Autumn 2005
- Appointment of DI Dr. Heinz Schmidt as Rector and DSAin Dr.in Barbara Bittner as Vice-Rector
Early 2007
- Transfer of the Higher Education Institutions for Special Allied Health Professions and Midwives into the tertiary education sector and integration into the FH Campus Wien
- Conversion of all degree programmes to the Bachelor-Master system
- Grouping of the degree programmes into the categories "Technology & Management", "Health" and "Social Work".
Autumn 2007
- Start of eight new Health degree programmes, the Bachelor degree programme "Integrated Safety and Security Management" and the Master degree programme "Spatial and Clinical Social Work"
Autumn 2008
- Start of the Master degree programmes "Sustainability in Civil Engineering", "Construction and completion of Large-scale International Projects" and "Social Work and Social economy"
and the Bachelor degree programmes "High Tech Manufacturing", "Healthcare and Nursing" and the Master degree programmes for further education "Biomedical Sciences", "Phsysiotherapy" and "Radiological Rechnology"
Winter 2009
- Topping-out ceremony at the new headquarter - Altes Landgut, Wien Favoriten.
Autumn 2009
- Centralisation of the sites into a new headquarters - Altes Landgut, Wien 10. The two degree programmes “Molecular Biotechnology” and “Bioengineering” will remain at the Vienna BioCenter respectively the BOKU (University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences), "Public Management" and "Tax Management" at Schloß Laudon
- Start of the bachelor dregree programmes "Tax Management", the master degree programme for further education "Occupational Therapy", the master programmes "IT-Security" and "Technical Management"
- Opening week from 20th to 27th November 2009

- Start of the master degree programmes "Bioprocess Technology", "Biotechnological Quality Management", "Bioinformatics", Molecular Biotechnology", "Networked Systems" (from 2011: Embedded Systems Engineering") and "Risk Management and Corporate Security"

- Appointment of Mag.a (FH) Sabina Paschek, MBA as second Managing Director
