Coins: 1 & 2 Euros as well as 1, 2, 5, 10, 20 und 50 cents

Opening times of the banks (generally):
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 8:00 to 12:30 and 13:30 to 15:00
Thursday 8:00 to 12:30 and 13:30 to 17:30
Cash Points (ATMs):
Outside of the banks money can be withdrawn throughout Austria at cash points around the clock. National and international “Maestro” cards and MasterCard, American Express, Visa and Diners Club cards are accepted as well as Cirrus and Visa/Plus cards. Credit cards are accepted at numerous hotels, restaurants and shops in cities and tourist centres as well as at petrol stations.
