Taxes and duties are the cornerstone of the public finance sector. The financial management is facing growing challenges in adopting a networked approach to examine individual data in a complex environment. In addition to the traditional management, concepts are needed for innovative tax policies to strengthen Austria as a business location. It also concerns steering business and society strategically as well as bringing revenues and expenditures into balance. The public finance sector must take both international as well as EU tax regulatory frameworks into account. This results in the need for highly qualified employees at the national, European and international levels.
