Taxes and duties are the cornerstone of the public finance sector. The financial management is facing growing challenges in adopting a networked approach to examine individual data in a complex environment. In addition to the traditional management, concepts are needed for innovative tax policies to strengthen Austria as a business location. It also concerns steering business and society strategically as well as bringing revenues and expenditures into balance. The public finance sector must take both international as well as EU tax regulatory frameworks into account. This results in the need for highly qualified employees at the national, European and international levels.
The Bachelor's degree in Tax Management offers an international degree specialised in tax law. In addition, as a long-time employee in the tax management field, you will benefit from the reciprocal effect of your professional experience and the specifically tailored contents of your bachelor's degree program. Within the scope of your education you will combine national, international and EU tax law with business know-how and management methods. This includes knowledge about project management, databases and personnel development, as well as expanding social communication skills. In addition to your academic interests, the program will require integrated thinking between law and business, as well as service orientation, teamwork and flexibility.
