Your Master’s Degree Program at a Glance

Hardware is developed in one country, purchased or produced in a second, and sold in a third. As a trained technician, you will work for companies predominately in an intra-office and transnational capacity. During the course of your career you will assume more and more management responsibility for projects or entire business units. Your central responsibility will be setting up and managing routine processes as well as change processes. Communication will play a major factor in carrying out your responsibilities. Technical knowledge alone will not be enough. For those who possess management skills, it will ultimately make no difference if projects have to be coordinated at a single location, or between distant production and development locations. The master’s degree program in Technical Management will provide you with comprehensive problem-solving skills in project, process and quality management for technically oriented companies. At the same time, you will acquire knowledge of how economically viable ideas can be identified and successfully implemented. The program will promote your process-oriented thinking skills, your overall perspective on technical projects and your social skills.
