Technical Management

Curriculum and ECTS

The curriculum provides a detailed overview of the courses, goals, methods, number of hours and credits allocated to each course.

What is the program “worth”? The individual academic performance is allocated credits according to the provisions of the ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System) (30 per semester or 60 per academic year), with one credit representing 25 hours of study. A bachelor's degree (with a total of 180 ECTS) is required in order to be eligible for the master's degree program. Details concerning admission to the master's degree program are to be clarified in an interview with the Program Director.

All the bachelor’s degree programs at the FH Campus Wien are worth the 180 ECTS credits required for admission to a master's degree program. A minimum number of these ECTS credits must be from courses in a relevant subject in order to be admitted to the master's degree program in Technical Management. If you have completed the bachelor's degree program in Applied Electronics, High Tech Manufacturing, or Information Technologies and Telecommunication, you will have also satisfied this requirement.

You will receive a further 120 ECTS credits for this master's degree program. With the total of 300 ECTS credits you will have earned, you will in principle be eligible to attend a university doctoral program.
