Overview of your studies
Information Technologies and Telecommunication interlink ever more closely in practise. New applications are constantly arising at the interfaces of safe data processing and data communication: from solutions for the operators of rail and road systems and for the security of electronic money transfer to domestic support of patients and the elderly.
Enterprises and authorities are taking advantage of ever more comprehensive communication networks and dynamic web pages, as they are required for interactive Web applications, portal systems and online shops.
A characteristic of the degree course is the optional specialisation in the areas “Applied IT-Security”, “Web Engineering” or “Telecommunication”. You will apply the theoretical knowledge that you acquired in your education during an (industry) placement semester and during work on R&D projects. A holistic perspective as well as technical and economic expertise and the ability to work in a team are demanded not only in your education but also in your profession. The education allows for acquisition of industrycertificates such as e.g. Java, CCNA, PMA, et al.
