Overview of your studies
The automotive industry and its supporting industry give important growth impulses to the entire economic area in the Vienna region and CENTROPE. Highly qualified workers are required, with expertise in the most modern production technologies who have one foot in management and - if necessary - the other in the production halls.
The generalistic focus of our bachelor degree programme accommodates the branch-diversity and the corporate structure of the Vienna Region. As graduates you can be employed in the production facilities of the entire technologically-geared industries from automotive via electronics and automation engineering, information technology to mechanical and plant engineering both in large scale industry as well as in small and medium-sized enterprises.
“Man - Management - Machines”: Your studies will teach you cross-linked expertise in the following areas: technical fundamentals, automation, economics and social skills. You will apply the theoretical knowledge that you acquire during an (industry) placement semester and during work on R&D projects. A holistic perspective as well as technical and economic expertise and the ability to work in a team are demanded not only in your education but also in your profession.
