Overview of your studies

From the coffee machine via the mobile telephone to the laptop - electronics is everywhere, electronic equipment can be found in ever more areas of everyday life and thereby improve our quality of life. In the degree course Applied Electronics you will learn the way from appliance design to product, from a first draft version via simulation to the final product on the market.

Modern companies need resource-saving total technical solutions for alternative energy and waste systems. Business processes are cross-sectorally automated within all production or service areas. The specialisations Environmental Technology and Automation Engineering concentrate on these areas which are particularly in demand.

You will apply the theoretical knowledge that you acquired in your education during a practical semester and work on R&D projects. A holistic perspective, technical and economic expertise and the ability to work in a team rank among the most important success factors in education/training and profession.
