Diploma Supplement

Upon graduation all graduates receive a Diploma Supplement in addition to their graduation certificate. The Diploma Supplement is given automatically and free of charge and is being issued in German and English.

It provides a description of the nature, level, context, content and status of the studies completed. The supplement contains no value judgements, equivalence statements on other qualifications or any suggestions about the recognition of the degree.

The Diploma Supplement promotes the international transparency of the achieved learning outcomes and learning processes. It facilitates the fair academic and professional recognition of the qualifications gained.
