Programme Overview
“Dedicated to quality” - The entire biotechnology field is marked by a demand for consistently high quality. Quality management is the basis for gaining approval to produce not only medicinal products, active pharmaceutical ingredients and medical devices, but also for foodstuffs, feedingstuffs and even cosmetic products. After all, deviations in quality can present an immediate danger to consumer health and cause financial damage to businesses. Biotechnology quality management is a growing occupational field that combines technical expertise with management methods. As a QM expert you will develop and realise customer-oriented products and services and optimise the company’s internal process quality. The programme places emphasis on quality management for biotechnological processes and products including Good Manufacturing Practice. Knowledge of the legal framework and project management also play a central role. The programme will promote your risk-benefit awareness, your analytical and process-oriented thinking skills, your social competence and outstanding knowledge of the English language.
